A catch-all functionality that is enabled for a given email mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. In other words, if you disable an email address and somebody still sends a message to it, or to any mistyped email address under the same domain, you’ll receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you won’t miss an email for any reason, which could be essential if you run some business, for example. Since you may start receiving spam email messages, you can combine the catch-all option with email filters so as to get only authentic email messages in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.
Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting
You will be able to set up a catch-all email mailbox without any difficulty in case you have a cloud website hosting plan with us. The Email Manager in our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet extremely simple to work with, and it will allow you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with no more than several clicks. All the email addresses that you have set up will be shown in alphabetical order in this section and next to each one you will notice a mini "Catch-all" button. Clicking it once will enable this option, clicking it once more will deactivate it. Since you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you already have a different mailbox with this option enabled or if you’ve got activated email forwarding.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The in-house built Hepsia Control Panel that comes with every semi-dedicated server plan that we’re offering will allow you to create a catch-all mailbox easily even if you do not have much email/web hosting experience. All it takes to achieve that is to click the catch-all icon, which will be on the right side of each email address that you’ve set up using your domains in the hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Since you can have only one mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will inform you if you’ve already created a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you’d like to use has email forwarding enabled. In case you reach the decision that you do not need the feature anymore, you can turn it off by clicking again on the very same icon. The Email Manager section will also permit you to see your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
